Electric Stove Top Cleaning

Here is a handy how to guide to clean your electric stove top. If you need help tackling this project, please feel free to call us at (303) 913- 8627 or blair@soapbubblecleaning.com.

Step One: Gather your supplies and good attitude!

You will need:

  1. One Razor Blade

  2. Weiman’s Daily Cook Top Cleaner

  3. Weiman’s Heavy Duty Cook Top Cleaner

  4. Paper Towels

  5. Sponge

Step Two:

Spray Weimier’s daily cleaner on the cook top and let it sit for a minute or two. Give the cooktop a good wipe down and remove all of the easy food stains. I usually take a paper towel, get the surface dry and check to see if I got all of the easy spots. I then apply rings of Weimier’s Heavy Duty Cook Top on each of the burners.

Step Three: I use the razor to spread out the polish and set to work. I gently scrape the burned on food and water at an angle. It seems daunting to take a sharp razor blade to a beautiful cooktop, I have yet to scratch a stove top using this method. I make quick work of this and try to get up as much of the cooked on food as I can. I then wipe the product off with a paper towel and examine to see if there are any spots left.

I borrow product from another burner and touch up any spots. Then I repeat on all the rest of the burners.

I use a lot of paper towels during this process but using a dish sponge works great too.

This method also works on the inside of the oven door but typically takes a few more runs with the razor.

The final product usually makes me feel so much better . I do this bi-weekly on my own stoved and use the daily cleaner several times a week.
